President Richard Nixon proclaimed the first National Nurses Week in 1974 to honor the hard work and dedication of our nation’s nurses.

The week of May 6-12 was chosen to honor the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, who was born in Florence, Italy on May 12, 1820.  This year’s theme, “NURSES TRUSTED TO CARE,” exemplifies the nurses of Med-Call Healthcare, Inc. We want to celebrate and pay tribute to our nurses for a job that is always well done.  A big thank you to all.  As a little token of appreciation, a Starbucks gift card will be given to all of our nurses this week.  Again, a BIG THANK YOU!
